Welcome to Tillr Marine ("Tillr", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website https://tillrmarine.com, the Tillr web application, and the Tillr mobile applications for Android and iOS (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, joining a company roster, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Tillr provides a cloud-based crew rostering, shift management, vessel handover/defect logging, marine weather/tide reference, and qualifying sea-service logbook export platform designed for commercial marine operators and their crew.

2. Maritime Safety, Navigation & Regulatory Disclaimer

IMPORTANT OPERATIONAL NOTICE: Tillr is an administrative scheduling and record-keeping tool only.

• Marine Weather, Wind, Swell & Tide Data: Any meteorological, wind, wave, swell, or astronomical tide data displayed within Tillr is sourced from third-party public models (including Open-Meteo) for general planning convenience only. It must never be relied upon as a primary source for vessel navigation, bar crossings, towage, pilotage, or safety-of-life-at-sea (SOLAS) decisions. Masters and operators must always consult official hydrographic tide tables, Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) warnings, and onboard navigational instruments.
• AMSA Sea-Time Logbooks & Certificates: While Tillr formats qualifying sea-service statements (referencing AMSA Form 426 / Marine Order 505), rest-hour warnings, and certificate expiry alerts, the Vessel Master, Seafarer, and Accredited Marine Operator remain solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of logged hours, maintaining valid certificates of competency, and complying with Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) or local flag-state regulations.
• Vessel Defects: Logging a defect in Tillr does not replace mandatory statutory incident reporting, official SMS/ISM logbooks, or direct verbal communication with the Vessel Master or Designated Person Ashore (DPA).

3. Accounts, Company Workspaces & Roles

• Company Ownership: The individual who creates a company workspace on Tillr is designated as the Company Owner and controls member invitations, administrative roles, and company data exports/deletion.
• Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and private iCal (`.ics`) calendar subscription links. If you suspect your calendar feed link has been shared, you may rotate your calendar token at any time in Settings.

4. Subscriptions, Trials & Website Billing

• Free Mobile App Access: The Tillr mobile application on Google Play and Apple App Store is free for crew members and administrators to download and sign into with their company account.
• Fleet Subscriptions: Company fleet plans (Starter Fleet, Pro Fleet, and Enterprise) are managed and billed exclusively on our website at https://tillrmarine.com. New company workspaces receive a 30-day free trial.
• Cancellations & Exports: Company Owners may cancel their web subscription or export a complete JSON backup of their company data at any time.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (including the Australian Consumer Law), Tillr Marine and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages—including but not limited to vessel downtime, missed charters, demurrage, crew no-shows, regulatory fines, or maritime incidents—arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Service.

6. Termination & Account Deletion

You may stop using the Service and delete your personal account or company workspace at any time via the in-app Settings or Admin controls. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse system resources, or engage in unlawful activity.
